BACKGROUND
International Country Club has a history of dedicated leadership who consistently plan for the future. After a successful member-driven master planning effort that led to the Club’s 2018 clubhouse renovation, ICC re-engaged Chambers to develop the next phase of improvements—Project 2024.
OUR APPROACH
Given the success and popularity of the covered outdoor terrace from the previous clubhouse renovation, and members’ desire to enhance the lower level covered patio and bar area, Project 2024 includes the development of a new outdoor bar at the Wakefield Patio. This new, vibrant outdoor bar experience is designed to seamlessly integrate with the new lighted putting course. Warm neutral colors and designated lounge areas will complement the expanded lower level dining terrace with a cross-talk bar featuring seating on all sides to maximize socialization and conversation among members.
Project 2024 also includes an expansion of the current pool deck toward the clubhouse with new shade structures, and a shaded multi-purpose activities area will replace the existing baby pool to provide interactive fun for the whole family.
Due to infrastructure needs for the existing Grounds Maintenance Facility, Project 2024 also includes a new Grounds Maintenance Facility & Cart Barn to aid the Club’s maintenance team in ensuring all Club surrounds look impressive, while functioning properly and efficiently.
