ASID’s Washington Metro Chapter Annual Gala Event with be taking place at Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams in Washington, DC.  This festive evening celebrates the Washington Metro chapter members of ASID, one of the largest and most successful chapters in the nation. Chapter Awards will be given during the event to those members who have excelled in interior design and leadership.

Our very own Director of Interior Design, Charlie Turner, will be participating in a Hospitality Round-table Event hosted by Editor in Chief of Interior Design Magazine, Cindy Allen. They’ll be accompanied by fellow designers and manufacturers in the industry to discuss the future of hospitality design.

Chambers’ Director of Interior Design, Charlie Turner, will be a guest speaker at Northern Virginia Community College in celebration of their win at the American Society of Interior Designers Student Chapter Challenge. He will be sharing both his expertise and journey thus far in the world of hospitality design.

CMAA’s World Conference and Club Business Expo is the Association’s most visible annual event and the largest gathering of club industry professionals. Held in major cities throughout the United States, close to 3,000 CMAA members, partners, allied representatives and vendors from around the world attend.

Chambers’ Director of Interior Design, Charlie Turner, will be an educational speaker at this year’s CMAA World Conference in Nashville, Tennessee.

Cities lead by a wonderful example when they evolve; they constantly grow and enhance their offerings while still speaking to the unique culture of their respective neighborhoods—so it only makes sense that city clubs do the same. And during his presentation, Charlie will be touching on how city clubs can accomplish just that.

Hospitality Design Magazine presents CitySCENE, an annual event aimed to bring together local designers, architects, owners, and other hospitality professionals. This year’s event will take place at the Conrad located in Washington DC. We hope to see you there!

The New York Athletic Club will be hosting the North American Association of Club Athletic Directors (NACAD) Conference from June 9th – 12th.

Lee Hyden, AIA, Director of Architecture / Principal will speak at this AIA Baltimore event, which will illustrate the principles of Integrated Project Delivery, its history, and current trends. Attendees will be encouraged to share their stories on what has worked well and what could be improved. This session will provide two hands-on activities with the attendees playing the role of owner, architect, contractor, supplier, and etc. as they built an actual project (origami cube), firstly using the traditional Design-Bid-Build method and secondly using the Integrated Project Delivery method.

The Leadership/Legislative Conference (LLC) features sessions focused on the education and instruction necessary to have an immediate impact on chapter-national alignment efforts and volunteer management.
