BACKGROUND

Greystone Golf & Country Club is listed among the top U.S. golf communities by Travel & Leisure Golf. In 2000, it became the first 36-hole equity club in the state of Alabama. Based on feedback obtained through a membership survey, Chambers developed a program that would focus on elevating the Legacy Clubhouse dining experiences while increasing capacity for outdoor dining and socializing opportunities.

OUR APPROACH

The new spaces at Greystone’s Legacy Clubhouse offer a refreshed dining experience that breathes new life into this quaint, beautiful building. Members enter the clubhouse through a newly renovated lobby area that provides an enhanced arrival experience. The reimagined Amici’s Dining Room provides a sophisticated, upscale dining and lounge space. One portion of the space features high ceilings with expansive windows capturing the view to the outside. The renovated Adult Grille area offers a casual bar and dining experience with TVs throughout and a beautiful stone fireplace.

A new Men’s Grille was created by expanding a portion of the building. This dedicated space features dining tables and soft seating areas, as well as direct access to the outdoor terrace through an operable glass wall that provides an immersive indoor-outdoor experience. The expanded outdoor terrace features a new outdoor bar, table seating for outdoor dinning, and soft seating around multiple fire pit areas for socialization. Next to the Men’s Grille, a portion of the underutilized Men’s Locker Room space was converted into a new Golf Simulator area with two simulators for indoor practice or social enjoyment.
