Golf Inc. Honors Chambers Project on Hilton Head Island

Golf Inc. Magazine, one of the most prestigious golf industry publications in the world, has named the Long Cove Club on Hilton Head Island, SC one of the winners of its annual Clubhouse of the Year awards. Baltimore-based Chambers, a club planning, architecture and interior design firm, designed and oversaw the award-winning clubhouse renovation.

“This renovation was a complex project that showcased Chambers’ unique blend of architecture, interior design and club planning expertise,” said Chambers’ Chairman Robert Hickman, who oversaw the project. “We are honored by the Golf Inc. award, and thrilled to have had a chance to work with the members of Long Cove to transform their beautiful clubhouse.”

Now in its 20th year, the Golf Inc. Clubhouse of the Year contest acknowledges best new construction and renovated/remodeled clubhouses around the world. This year’s winners included clubs in China and Korea, in addition to its U.S. winners. The full announcement will be made the Spring issue of the magazine.
