Chambers’ Business Continuity Plan for COVID-19

To Our Clients and Friends,

The health and safety of our employees, clients and friends is of utmost importance to us at Chambers. As such, we wanted to let you know about the implementation of our business continuity plan in light of the continued guidance from authorities related to the Coronavirus (COVID-19).

We assure you that our actions, primarily designed to aid in “social distancing,” will allow us to remain open for business and ensure that we remain fully engaged and committed to the success of our projects, regardless of where we might be working.

Effective Wednesday, March 18, 2020, Chambers instituted a plan across our five offices for our employees to work remotely. We have asked our employees to do their best to replace face-to-face meetings with conference and video calls using our conference and video technology for the short term.

Specifically, we have the following structures in place:

• A secure and high-speed Virtual Private Network (VPN) for access to all relevant files
• GoToMeeting®, a premier video conferencing program
• Autodesk® BIM 360 for live design team collaboration
• Phone systems with automatic voicemail-to-email relay to ensure prompt response
• Mandatory, daily internal team check-ins for ongoing collaboration

Although these necessary precautions have been implemented, we continue to remain fully functional to handle our clients’ projects and other needs.

Rest assured—while our team is working remotely, we are equipped with the latest technologies that allow us to meet design deliverables and collaborate successfully with each other and our consultant partners. The expectation is that all employees will continue to contribute and perform to the highest standards as we navigate these uncertain times together.

Thank you for the continued confidence that you have placed in Chambers.

Rick Snellinger
President and CEO
