Chambers Names New President
BALTIMORE, MARYLAND | DECEMBER 1, 2025
Chambers, an award-winning leader in planning, architecture, interior design, and procurement for private clubs and communities across the country, is proud to announce that John Snellinger has been appointed the new President of the company as part of an expanded ownership group.
A respected and influential leader within Chambers for more than 20 years, John brings deep experience, a strong vision for the future, and a longstanding commitment to the firm’s clients, people, and mission.
Throughout his time at Chambers, John has been instrumental in guiding major initiatives that have enhanced client service and firm performance. While he will continue his role as Firmwide Principal of Planning, John’s appointment as President reflects a natural progression of leadership and the continued evolution of a company entering its 127th year of service.
“John has played a significant role in our success for over two decades and has earned immense respect across the organization and throughout the industry,” said Rick Snellinger, who will continue to serve in an active leadership capacity as CEO and Managing Partner. “His leadership style, industry knowledge, and deep understanding of our clients make him exceptionally well-suited to guide Chambers into the future. I’m excited to continue working closely with him as we build on our legacy.”
His leadership comes at a pivotal moment as the firm continues to grow, adapt, and expand its impact across the private club industry. John’s focus as President will center on fostering continued innovation across all disciplines as he works alongside his fellow partners to champion collaborative design excellence and continue strengthening the firm’s culture.
“The expanded ownership group is comprised of long tenured and highly respected leaders within our organization,” says Rick Snellinger. “These individuals will continue to play a key role in shaping the firm’s future as they assume new corporate responsibilities.”

“This expanded ownership group represents the future of Chambers,” John said. “I am honored and humbled to step into the role of President, and each partner brings exceptional expertise, dedication, and passion for the work we do and clients we serve. Together, we are well-positioned to honor our legacy while accelerating our momentum for decades to come.”
