The members are incredibly happy and the Terrace Room’s reputation has expanded far beyond the club’s walls. It’s the most talked about bar in Baton Rouge. Everyone wants to be here! Member dining F&B sales alone have increased 31%. Investment in member dining has helped bring our stockholding membership back to capacity.

I was optimistic when we undertook this project, but the level of service, commitment, and deliverables presented far surpassed my lofty expectations. Chambers has delivered on every single promise and proved to be the finest partner in this journey that we could have hoped for. I believe what the Committee and Board have delivered, under Chambers’ guidance, is a fine product and one our members can be very proud of.

[Chambers was] detailed and professional in their approach to surveying our members, conducting focus groups, interviewing Board members and soliciting input from the management staff. They followed through every step of the process to get our project done right, assisted with changes along the way and made the renovation as streamlined as a $5 million project could be. We are very pleased with the results and believe they have significantly improved our market value and ability to compete in a crowded club market. Our members love the new clubhouse and the style and function will serve us today and into the future.

Since Vision 2020 was completed, our rounds of golf have increased 30%, our guest rounds have increased by over 70%, member dining has increased by 56%, and membership began to grow like never before. More importantly, these changes have created in our members a sense of pride of our golf course and our clubhouse that surpasses anything I’ve seen.

The team at Chambers was really great to work with as far as understanding who we were…They were sensitive to how this renovation to our 126-year-old club was going to look and feel like our classic club.

Chambers was a great partner in assisting our Planning Committee to develop a Master Plan for the modernization of our 14 story mid-rise condominium in Naples. Chambers partnered with us to obtain the approval of the owners to proceed with a $11M project. The Project was challenging given Hurricane Ian struck Naples in the early days of construction. Chambers worked with us through these challenges to the finish of construction and delivered a project that has received positive reviews from owners and visitors.

My summer at Chambers was a one-of-a-kind experience. I was able to really be a part of the team and see how fascinating different aspects of private club design can be, such as schematic design and construction. I was even able to visit some projects I worked on, all while learning from great mentors and professionals.

As an architect, I work on Master Planning, Architecture and Interior Design projects. This imparts hands-on experience on diverse projects, which is interesting and fun. Being with Chambers has helped me master the latest industry software, and the company has a very positive atmosphere and promotes a healthy work-life balance. Working for Chambers is indeed a wonderful experience!

The benefit of Chambers specializing in the club industry is that they have a depth of knowledge from working with hundreds of clubs. They bring best practices from any city in the country. Ideas that emerged at one club in California might work perfectly at Charlotte Country Club—they brought so many ideas to the table and they’re always at the cutting edge of where the business is at today and where it will be in the future.

I feel like Chambers was a good fit for me because of their dedication to the whole process. I was working with a strategic planning company, and when we interviewed Chambers to do the architecture and design—it was amazing that they wanted to also be a part of that strategic planning process to have a better idea of what our members, our Board, and myself were looking for.
