Started in 1899 to provide the finest painting and decorative finishing in Baltimore, the underlying philosophy of the H. Chambers Company hasn't changed: to provide the best.

Through the years Chambers has risen to meet the challenges and opportunities of planning, architecture, and interior design, growing, innovating, developing new prospects as the demands of the design field have changed. With growth came new, sometimes unexpected, opportunities: hotel design around the globe, luxury cruise ships, and the opportunity to join those select few who have designed for the White House.

With the growth, over decades, of the nation's economy and the prospect of increased leisure time came the opportunity to design facilities for country and golf clubs; this is now one of Chambers' most respected activities and the firm was named 'Design Firm of the Year for the Private Club Industry' in 2007 and has been named one of the Top 100 Interior Design Firms in the United States by Interior Design Magazine since the inception of the program in the 1980s.

Master planning, architecture, and interior design are but three of the suite of services that are offered by Chambers: purchasing, installation, and the innovative CFA Program are also credited with keeping Chambers in the forefront of design. Since 1899 Chambers has been providing the best.
