Total Renovated Square Footage: 28,800
Through a Membership Survey and Master Planning process, it was determined that the Membership desired a totally new space plan and aesthetic program in order to meet their current and future needs.
One problem the Club was experiencing was their "L" shaped formal Dining Room/Ballroom made some Members feel like second class citizens depending upon where they were seated. Through the Master Planning Process, all the dining areas were reconfigured to form a giant rectangle. Five sets of French doors were installed on either end of the formal dining area to add visual interest to the room and to give the space flexibility for large events. The room can now be transformed to accommodate 800 people by opening the French Doors which link multiple spaces.
The team (client/architect/designer/contractor) worked closely together to allow the project to move from demolition to completion with minimal interruption to the membership.
Quality products coupled with adaptive reuse of space and furnishings allowed for a "look" far in excess of expenditures.
