Navesink Country Club Red Bank, New Jersey
Background
Navesink was searching for its vision for the future, looking at ways to grow responsibly, grow into the family-oriented club the members wanted, and whether to restore or build a new clubhouse. Chambers proposed a Master Plan Program to answer these questions and a number of others.
Our Approach
Chambers Master Planning Program offered not one but multiple approaches to the challenges facing Navesink, bringing members into the process so that as the right approach was determined there would be significant agreement between board and membership. Chambers' financial modeling showed clearly that building restoration was the right path and, due to Chambers involving membership, there was an 87 percent member agreement with the Master Plan direction.
Results
In January 2009, after the competitive bid process, with Chambers assistance in leveraging the most competitive pricing in a difficult market, the project began. With Chambers' Architectural, Interior Design, Purchasing and Installation leading the way, the project will be completed within the year and expected to be under budget. Chambers strength in navigating the diverse challenges of private clubs proved the exact right fit with Navesink.
