New Construction: 2,800 Sq. Ft
Renovated Space: 34,000 Sq. Ft.
During the last quarter of 1999, Chambers was hired to
develop a Master Plan that would redefine space
allocations. Aging facilities presented a challenge to
build upon the best of what was there and yet reconfigure
the Club for today'' Membership. Specifically, the
casual dining space and bar were not capable of handling the
Membership needs. The formal dining space was part
of the ballroom creating a space too large for intimate
dining. In addition, there was a need within the
Membership for a Children's Facility. Through the
use of Focus Groups and a review of past surveys, Chambers
developed a plan that was consistent with membership
desires. A brochure and town hall meetings were
used to communicate the Master Plan to the Membership for
a successful 82% approval of the completed plan you see here.
