Rachel Swan Chambers, a Baltimore-based 360° club planning, architecture and interior design firm specializing in private country, golf, city, and yacht clubs, announced today that it has hired Rachel Swan as Director of Project Financial Management. In this newly created senior role, Swan will work closely with Chambers’ Baltimore and Dallas offices to integrate the project management efforts of a new financial system the company implemented in early 2014. Swan will be responsible for working with studio directors and project managers to establish schedules and provide monthly feedback on budgeted hours, managing accounts, and overseeing the company’s monthly design and overall fee billings in order to achieve company budgeting objectives.

“Rachel brings an added dimension to our management team through her efforts working with our Project Managers to ensure that we meet our project schedules with the most efficient use of project team hours,” says Rick Snellinger, President and CEO of Chambers.

Swan joins Chambers after three years at one of Washington D.C.’s top interior design and architecture firms, Forrest Perkins, LLC, where she held various roles as office manager, human resources administrator, project accountant, and most recently, financial manager. Swan graduated from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University’s Pamplin College of Business in 2005 with a degree in Finance.
