The award-winning private club planning and design firm Chambers (www.chambersusa.com) has announced its continued expansion. On August 1st, the firm opened its newest office in southwest Florida.

Throughout the firm’s history, Chambers has expanded its office locations to effectively serve its clients. Headquartered in Baltimore, Maryland since 1899, the firm began expanding its geographic reach specific to the private club industry in 2013 with the acquisition of industry competitor CCI Club Design located in Dallas, Texas. Since that time, the firm has opened additional offices in Minneapolis, MN and Washington, DC. The Naples office will be the firm’s fifth location.

This decision is a result of strategic initiatives enacted by Chambers’ leadership team. “We have an incredible opportunity to aid the Florida private club market in its growth and development,” says Chambers’ President and CEO Rick Snellinger. “Many Florida clubs are ahead of the curve with regard to private club trends and we feel our thought leadership and expertise in helping clubs plan for the future are a perfect fit for this area.”

Chambers has deep experience in the various segments of the Florida market and is currently working with clients such as Royal Poinciana Golf Club, Wilderness Country Club, Atlantic Beach Country Club, Suntree Country Club, and San Jose Country Club. “Florida clubs are unique and our first priority is always to understand the individual culture of each and every one of our clients,” Snellinger adds. “Having local roots in Florida will aid in this endeavor.”

The Naples office will be led by the firm’s Executive Vice President Skip Avery who is a well-known industry veteran with over 30 years of experience as a private club general manager. Avery is also a Past President of the Club Managers Association of America (CMAA) and an active member of CMAA’s Florida Chapter.
